1. What the site is

GameUnderground is an editorial catalogue of indie and classic games with links to third-party download and storefront pages. We are not the publisher of the games we describe. Each game is owned by its respective developer or rights holder.

2. Acceptable use

• Don't attempt to break the site, scrape it at scale, or interfere with other users.
• Don't post harassing, illegal, or copyright-infringing content through the contact form.
• Don't impersonate developers or rights holders when sending takedown requests.

3. Copyright & takedown (DMCA)

We respect creator rights. If you are a developer, publisher, or rights holder and you want a listing changed or removed, please send a notice via the contact form with:

• Your name and a way to verify your relationship to the work.
• The specific URL(s) on GameUnderground you want changed or removed.
• A short description of the issue (incorrect attribution, expired licence, etc.).

We aim to action valid takedown requests within seven days.

4. Third-party links

Outbound links go to storefronts, developer sites, fan archives, and similar third parties. We have no control over what those sites do, host, or change after we link to them. If a link is broken or now points at something unwanted, please tell us.

5. Affiliate & advertising disclosure

Some outbound links — currently NordVPN — are affiliate links. If you sign up through them we may receive a commission at no extra cost to you. We also display Google AdSense ads on content pages. Advertising and affiliate relationships never influence which games we recommend.

6. No warranty

The site is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee that download links work, that games will run on your system, or that information is free from errors. Use the site at your own risk.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, GameUnderground and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, including loss of data, downtime, or issues with software downloaded from third parties.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest revision. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
